Brian Conneely is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Fourth Circuit. Conneely is a former chair of the Labor and Employment Committee of the Federal and Commercial Litigation Section of the New York Bar Association and the Labor Employment and Health Law Committees of the Suffolk County Bar Association. He has served as an officer of the Suffolk Academy of Law and for the Advancement for Commerce, Industry and Technology. Conneely has lectured and written on labor and employment matters for more than 20 years. Conneely represents Fortune 500 companies nationwide in employment related matters, as well as hospitals, nursing homes, securities firms, law firms, engineering firms, accounting firms, retailers, manufacturers, doctors, small businesses and not for profit entities. He regularly represents and advises employers on labor matters such as union organizational attempts, proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, labor negotiations, secondary boycotts, prevailing wage disputes, wage hour investigations, arbitration, strikes, and picketing, as well as employment law matters relating to OSHA, employment discrimination, noncompete and theft of trade secret litigation.
