Neil Deutsch has for over 35 years been an accomplished leader in New Jersey and New York employment law and brings a shrewd, skillful and practical approach to his craft.
The Queens native began his career as corporate counsel for several well-known companies with executive offices in the area, including Dairylea, Panasonic and a division of a Fortune 300 company. While serving in those capacities, he negotiated labor agreements on behalf of management, and employment and discrimination matters. That experience, he says, has been invaluable in his practice as a plaintiff's employment lawyer because he understands management's perspective as well as that of his clients.
Over the last two decades, he has trained and served as mentor to several other employment lawyers who have become partners in their own firms in the area.
Deutsch is best known and highly regarded for his negotiation and management skills, but is equally capable in the courtroom, having tried many cases and won a number of them with significant verdicts.
In early 2006 he teamed up with Bruce Atkins to create Deutsch, Atkins P.C. of Hackensack. It immediately became one of the region's leading firms representing employees, managers and officers in employment discrimination matters, particularly high level corporate managers and officers who have been illegally terminated as a result of forced layoffs or otherwise.
Deutsch and his wife are longtime residents of Ridgewood, New Jersey.
