Linda Christopher was admitted to the New York State Bar Appellate Division in 1982 and the United States Supreme Court in 1988. She has been a member of the Rockland County Bar Association since 1981 when she served as past president and on its Board of Directors. She is a member, since 1985, of the Rockland County Women's Bar Association and was a past president and member of the Board of Directors. Linda Christopher is on the Board of Directors since 1985 of the Rockland County Legal Aid Society and has been president since 1997. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Rockland County YMCA, and Jawonio, among her many community contributions, and has counseled Nyack's Zoning and Planning Boards. Christopher lectured at the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law/Yeshiva University Intensive Trial Advocacy Program. She frequently lectures to Bar Associations and civic organizations on the topics of matrimonial law, as well as domestic violence and family offense proceedings. She currently serves as Village Justice to Grandview and Acting Village Justice in Upper Nyack.
